Current and new substitutes for the upcoming year will have their annual orientation meeting August 9, 9:00 a.m. in the Palestine ISD Administration Board Room at 1007 E. Park. Your attendance at this meeting is required in order to substitute teach for PISD. There is new information regarding benefits to substitute teachers we must provide. Also, this is the best opportunity available for us to disseminate the the important aspects and expectations for the duties of a substiture teacher. The Palestine ISD Board approved a revision to the 2023-2024 school calendar at the June regular board meeting. April 19, 2024 was a regular school day, but is now a day off. April 26, 2024 was a day off, but is now a regular school day.

The Elkhart Elks and Palestine Wildcats are sending two angler duos to state as both placed inside the top-30 percent at the regional tourney this past weekend. Cayuga’s Kolten and Hayden Goolsby placed top-10 as they also punched their state ticket.
