Mrs. Mancilla and her staff were gracious hosts to Texas Commissioner of Education Mike Morath and his team from TEA along with Representative Harris and Mrs. Slaton from Senator Nichols office. They along with Region VII Service Center Director Todd Schneider visited A. M. Story to observe quality instruction utilizing TEA curriculum, Carnegie, Amplify, and Eureka.
Thank you Commissioner Morath and Representative Harris for taking the time to observe the great teaching and hard work from the A. M. Story staff. We appreciate your questions, observations, and willingness to support our staff and students as they continue their journey on the road to greatness!!!

The varsity basketball team won the silver bracket of the Mabank Tournament this weekend. The Ladycats finished the tournament with a 4-1 record and made 37 three pointers.
Sydney Hughes was named to the Mabank All Tournament team (15 teams). Sydney scored 77 points in the 5 games, and she had 2 double-doubles. She had a career high 27 points on Friday night.
