LADYCAT JV DISTRICT CHAMPIONS!!! Ladycat JV claim their 4th consecutive district title with a 5-0 victory over Hudson on Friday February 28, 2025.
Spanish foreign exchange student Claudia Garzon would lead the Ladycats to victory in her final match for the program, playing a little higher up the field in this game. Claudia would open up the scoring for the Ladycats, breaking free on goal past the defense, assisted on a through ball by Leah Ruiz. Leah Ruiz would then grab a goal of her own, assisted on a through ball by Erin Asunción, for a 2-0 lead at the half.
In the second half, Leah Ruiz scored her second goal of the game, this time on a solo effort after intercepting a pass between defenders. NaZolia Adams added a fourth for the Ladycats, after a few combination passes, assisted by Ariana Ramirez. Claudia Garzon would then cap off the Ladycats scoring on a solo effort, securing the Ladycats 5-0 victory. Ladycats JV are District Champions!!!
Particia Velasquez, Leah Ruiz, and Daycy Lara all shared the clean sheet with the help of a host of defenders.
These young Ladycats showed significant growth throughout the season, playing bigger schools for the majority of this season, but never shying away from a challenge. We look forward to their continued growth in the program. We appreciate their hard work and dedication to Ladycats Soccer and Cross Country.
Congratulations to Goalkeeper: Patricia Velasquez, Defenders: Camila Marquez, Aliayah Reyes, Esther Mugambi, Benilda Marroquin, and Valarie Garcia, Midfielders: Evelyn Morales, Claudia Garzon, Daycy Lara, Ariana Ramirez, Angela Garcia, Rosalyn Harder, Mariana Roman, and Erin Asunción, and Forwards: Leah Ruiz and NaZolia Adams, on a fantastic season!
Thank you all for your support!

A. M. Story archery students had a wonderful day of competition at the Kaufman tournament today. #palestinetx #palestine_isd #wildcatnation

THEY DID IT!!!! I had another team qualify for the Regional drone tournament!!!!!!
We had so many issues but all the teams performed amazingly. I’m so proud of how far they have come and everything they have accomplished.
We had two teams finish first (three of the four teams in the semifinals tied with 139 point!), another team placed 5th overall, and my other team dealt with radio interference (very, very frustrating) but managed to still compete!---Ms. Neugebauer, Robotics Instructor
