Honors Geometry students take advantage of the Flex day to get some much needed practice on proofs. Students were giving a full proof on sentence strips in random order. Students practiced drawing a diagram first to mark given geometric parts. Great discussions were developed in each group as their understanding of Geometric proof strengthened.

Ms. Erickson’s friends learning about the color gray this week! Students mixed black and white to create the color then painted an elephant 🐘.
Kicking off this spooky season with foil transfer art. It involves using washable markers on foil, misting it with water, and then pressing a picture of our Frankenstein onto the foil to transfer the colors, creating a vibrant and abstract watercolor effect. Our kiddos at WECC are great artists! 🧑🎨 👩🎨

Ms. Carrizales celebrated GYTO “Rock Your Classroom.” Our theme this year was “You got a Friend in Me.” Students dressed up as characters from Toy Story . They stepped outside the box with their learning activities. They sorted people and animal toys, they syllabicated Toy Story characters, made Forky hats, and constructed Mr. Potato Head as their food activity.
