Southside Elementary Administrative Team Announced

Palestine ISD

Palestine ISD is pleased to announce Mrs. Lolita Shead will serve as Interim Principal at Southside Elementary for the 2024-25 school year. Mrs. Shead has previously served as principal at Washington Sixth Grade Center and A. M. Story. She is currently serving as school & community liaison for the district. She brings a wealth of experience and deep understanding of the students of PISD to her new role.

Joining Mrs. Shead will be Ms. Sharon Reed as Curriculum Support

Specialist. Ms. Reed has served the district as assistant principal at Palestine Junior High and is currently serving the district as curriculum director. Ms. Reed will support curriculum and instruction on the campus.
