East Texas Baptist freshman Monique Ybarra (Palestine, Texas) posted a 2-0 record with wins in No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles to push the Tigers to an 8-1 victory at St. Thomas last weekend. Ybarra prevailed in her singles matchup Anamaria Gonzalez 6-1, 7-5. She teamed up with Addy Seward with an 8-4 win over Anamaria Gonzalez and Lucia Rodriguez to begin the contest. ETBU improved to 3-0 on the season.
